Finish off your timeline of the history of marketing in Hollywood. Due Tuesday 17th.

Find out what the traditional marketing methods were, plus any innovations as the industry developed e.g. the development of new cinematographic technology in the 1950s or William Castle’s shock tactics when TV was threatening Hollywood power. Trace the development of marketing innovations through the digital age e.g. when the first viral marketing campaign was launched (which film, institution, audience?). Don’t forget the case studies you already know about e.g. A Field in England. Put your knowledge in context.
